Delivering Sustainable Schools Exhibition & Conference 2008

This event on Monday 23 June 2008, at Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool will help teachers get the most out of Eco-Schools and highlight ways in which schools can become even more sustainable. The conference will also bring clarity to the Governmen's Sustainable Schools Agenda, its links to Every Child Matters and many other relevant strategies, programmes and awards.

This year the free event will feature:

  • A Presentation Hall with presentations every 30 minutes on a range of topics including the Switched on Communities Eco-Schools Grant Scheme
  • Ask the Experts surgery sessions for attending schools focussing on their challenges
  • The brand new ASDAN Environmental Award, developed for secondary Eco-Schools
  • An Exhibition Hall with over 30 relevant exhibitors
You will also get your chance to talk to the Eco-Schools team and suggest ways in which Eco-Schools can offer even more support nationally, including the potential for a new Eco-School of the Year national award in 2009.

Many Local Authorities have chosen to support the event directly by laying on transport centrally for their own schools, contact your own authority to see if they are offering the same.
